The 19th International Agricultural Exhibition AGRA will be held from 23 to 27 February 2010 at the Fairground in Plovdiv. The event is organized by International Fair Plovdiv in cooperation with the Agricultural Academy at the Ministry of Agriculture and Food.
The most prestigious agricultural forum in Southeast Europe showcases the latest opportunities for the development of agriculture as a modern and successful sector oriented to innovations and high technologies.
The participants total 376 companies (Bulgarian – 287; foreign – 89) from 18 countries: Austria, Argentina, Belgium, Bulgaria, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, India, Italy, the Netherlands, Poland, Romania, Russian Federation, Serbia, Slovak Republic, Spain and Turkey. They present their own products and products of 74 other companies from Canada, China, Denmark, Israel, Republic of Korea. Slovenia, the UK and the USA.

Seventy-two products have entered AGRA Innovations Competition. The exhibitors will be awarded for new products, services and improvements in the field of agriculture. The competition aims to promote the innovations and the companies presenting them to the trade visitors. It is organized by International Fair Plovdiv with the support of the Ministry of Agriculture and Food.
The European Commission’s Directorate-General for Health and Consumer Protection will present The One-Health EU Roadshow aimed at raising the awareness about biosecurity at EU borders and at farm-level. This information campaign started in November 2008 in Brussels. So far, the Roadshow has visited more than 15 Member States.
AGRA 2010 Business Events Programme outlines the conditions and the prospects of the sector, providing new ideas and key solutions and bringing together present and future business partners. The complete programme is available in the Congress Centre Section at
FAIRINFO.FAIR.BG – the new online catalogue of the exhibitors at International Fair Plovdiv provides access to information submitted by exhibiting companies. The catalogue is accessible for 24 months and the content is updated weekly until the start of the event.
